There is a $50.00 non-refundable road test fee paid upon scheduling the appointment. Upon passing the road test, there will be a $20.00 driver license issue fee. No refunds for taking the test from another source. Applicants under 18 years of age are required to have a valid permit for at least 6 months prior to obtaining a driver license. PRE-TRIP INSPECTION 1. Windshield Wipers and Defroster 2. All windows and Safety Glass 3. Muffler & Tight Exhaust System 4. Turn Signals (front& back) 5. License Plates-Both front & Back 6. Headlights and Tail Lights 7. Brake and Tail Lights 8. 4-way Flashers 9. Brakes 10. Parking Brakes 11. Mirrors 12. Horn 13.Seat Belts Mandatory 14. Good Tires 15. Speedometer 16. NO Weapons in Vehicle 17. NO Passengers, Pets, or Interpreter 18. Vehicle must be safe, clean and accessilble ARRIVAL FOR YOUR ROAD TEST APPOINTMENT: Please be prompt! Appointments are scheduled back to back. IF you arrive more than 10 minutes late you may not finish the test in the alloted time and thereby forfeit your road test fee. UPON CHECKING-IN FOR YOUR ROAD TEST, YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Your instruction permit, state ID card, out of state license, or two pieces of ID with your name if you have lost your ID card or instruction permit. If you do not have a permit, you must provide proof of passing the written test. 2. The current vehicle registration card. 3. A parent consent. A notarized DMV parental consent form may be used if your parent cannot come with you. 4. You must be able to pass the eye exam or have a letter from your eye doctor. 5. Provide proof of vehicle insurance upon check-in.
